❥ .. Epilepsy

before every thing i want you to know abut this disease .
 Epilepsy:
Epilepsy is a serious neurological condition that affects more than 3 million Americans and 50 million people worldwide. The condition produces seizures, which can range from a momentary disruption of the senses, to short periods of unconsciousness or staring spells, to convulsions. A seizure happens when a brief, strong surge of electrical activity affects part or all of the brain. When a person has two or more unprovoked seizures, they are considered to have epilepsy. Currently there is no cure for epilepsy; however, more than half of people with epilepsy are able to control seizures with existing treatment options.

lots of people don't know much about  Epilepsy , i don't blame them because maybe if i didn't see it , i will not know lots about this disease.
i have uncle has this disease , i remember when i saw him fall down on the floor with epileptic bout , i was very young and didn't know what happened ? we were eating dinner ( he came to our house ) , anyway while we were eating suddenly, i saw his face i don't know why i raised my head to see him at that moment , his eyes was looking to us but without feeling like empty, then he became in bout and all his body was shaking so hard like he had shock from electricity , my mom or my dad(i don't remember) hurry stood and try to help him to stay on the floor , she/he put( her/his )hands on my uncle's head on the floor , me and my brothers and my sisters were scared what just happened ? finally he came back normal after very hard epileptic bout .

Step-by-step recovery position:

1. Kneel on the floor to one side of the person.

2. Place the person’s arm that is nearest you at a right angle to their body, so it is bent at the elbow with the hand pointing upwards. This will keep it out of the way when you roll them over.

3. Gently pick up their other hand with your palm against theirs (palm to palm). Now place the back of their hand onto their opposite cheek (for example, against their left cheek if it is their right hand). Keep your hand there to guide and support their head as you roll them.

4. Now use your other arm to reach across to the person’s knee that is furthest from you, and pull it up so that their leg is bent and their foot is flat on the floor.

5. Now, with your hand still on the person’s knee, pull their knee towards you so they roll over onto their side, facing you. The person’s body weight should help them to roll over quite easily.

6. Move the bent leg that is nearest to you, away from their body so that it is resting on the floor (bent at a right angle to their body).

7. Lastly gently raise their chin to tilt their head back slightly, as this will open up their airway and help them to breathe. Check that nothing is blocking their airway. If there is an obstruction, remove this if you can do so safely. Stay with them, giving reassurance, until they have fully recovered.

the second one i didn't saw him , but it happened also in my house ( that not means his first disease started in my house , no all I'm saying is the first time i saw him like this because he had this disease before ) . the second one is after ablution for prayer, he went to majles (our guest room for men ) to pray , however he fall down in front of the door , my father ( his brother ) tried to help him the same way he did before , i didn't see him but my father told us how it's happened .
my uncle still have this disease and still have medicine , also he has one year old son .

the reason that made me write about this is to make the people who didn't know much about this to know more , and if they one day saw someone has this disease then they will know how to deal with it .
